Why owners come to us

Everyone sees a piece of your business. Nobody sees all of it.

Most business problems are not accounting problems. A falling margin can come from a new competitor, a change in customs duty, an old machine, or a pricing decision made two years ago. You cannot fix what nobody has measured properly.

  • Your CARecords what already happened and keeps you compliant. Not paid to plan your next five years.
  • Your bankerChecks whether you can repay. Not whether the project is worth doing at all.
  • Your teamKnows the daily work better than anyone. Usually too close to it to judge it.
  • Most consultantsHand over a report and disappear. No support when the hard part starts.

We look at all of it together: your numbers, your market, your competitors and the government policies that affect you. Then we give you one clear recommendation you can act on.

How we think

Six layers of intelligence. One decision.

Every recommendation we make is built from six views of the same business. Remove any one of them and the advice becomes a guess.

Direction

Where should this business be in ten years?

Most companies plan for the next order, not the next decade. We work backwards from where you want the business to be, then decide what has to happen this year to get there.

  • Three, five and ten year roadmap
  • Priority matrix for the leadership team
  • Clear list of what to stop doing

Policy watch

Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026

Gujarat's new industrial policy runs from June 2026 to May 2031 and offers capital subsidy, interest subsidy and power tariff support to MSME, Large, Mega and Ultra-Mega units.

Here is the part most owners miss. The subsidy ceiling depends on which taluka category your unit sits in. The same project in a Category A taluka can qualify for a ceiling around ten percentage points higher than in Category B. That makes site selection a financial decision, not just an operational one, and it has to be settled before you register the project, not after.

Limits are based on plant and machinery investment. Scheme terms change, so always confirm eligibility against the applicable Government Resolution and your own project facts before committing.

How an engagement runs

Four steps, and we stay for all of them

The difference between a report and a result is what happens after the report. We do not disappear at step three.

Step 01

Understand

We sit with you and your team, walk the operation, and learn what you actually want from the business, not what a template says you should want.

Step 02

Analyse

Financials, market, competitors and policy, examined together. We show our workings so you can question every assumption.

Step 03

Recommend

A written roadmap with priorities, timelines and expected numbers. Clear enough that your bank, your board or your family can follow it.

Step 04

Support

We stay through implementation, track what is working, and adjust when reality differs from the plan. It usually does.

In development

Orina Intelligence

We are building software that reads a company's financial statements and produces a first-draft strategic analysis in hours instead of weeks.

It will handle the slow part, meaning ratios, benchmarks, policy matching and competitor data, so our consultants spend their time on judgement instead of spreadsheets. Every report will still be reviewed and signed off by a person before it reaches a client. Software does not get to advise your business.

Who you will be working with

Saurabh Rameshchandra Patel, Founder and Managing Director of Orina

Saurabh Rameshchandra Patel

Founder & Managing Director

Saurabh has spent more than thirteen years inside businesses rather than beside them, working in manufacturing, corporate finance, government tender projects and general management. Before starting Orina he held leadership roles in different ventures, including running operations in the manufacturing sector.

That work covered the things owners actually lose sleep over: financial planning, investment decisions, working capital, profitability, restructuring and long-term planning. He has seen businesses being set up, businesses growing faster than their systems, and businesses that needed rebuilding.

It led him to a simple conclusion. Companies rarely fail because of one bad year. They fail because of decisions delayed, or made without enough information. Orina exists to close that gap for owners who do not have a full-time strategy team.

“Our purpose is not only to solve today's business challenges, but to help business leaders build stronger, more valuable and sustainable organisations for the future.”

Straight answers

Questions owners ask us first

For most MSMEs the honest answer is: we help you see the business clearly. That means reading your numbers properly, checking what the market and your competitors are doing, finding the government support you qualify for, and then giving you a short list of decisions worth making. It is not paperwork. It is direction.

No. Most of our work is with MSMEs, family businesses, cooperatives and single-unit manufacturers. These are the businesses that usually cannot afford a full-time strategy team, which is exactly why an outside view helps.

Your CA records what has already happened and keeps you compliant, which is essential work. We look forward instead, at whether the business model still works, where the profit is really coming from, and what you should do over the next three to ten years. Most of our clients keep their CA and work with us alongside them.

We prepare the project report, detailed project report (DPR) and CMA data that banks ask for, built on assumptions you can defend in front of a credit officer. We do not promise sanction, because no honest firm can. What we can do is make sure your case is complete, realistic and properly presented.

No, and we want to be clear about that. Orina LLP is a business research, education and consulting firm. We are not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser, and we are not a chartered accountancy or law firm. Our reports are for business planning and management decisions. Anything with legal, audit, tax or investment consequences should be reviewed by your CA, company secretary, advocate or a SEBI-registered adviser before you act. We are happy to work alongside them.

Let's look at your business properly.

A first conversation costs nothing and usually takes about forty minutes. Bring your numbers and your worries. We will tell you honestly whether we can help.
